Q&A with Tampa’s Top Bartenders

1. What does exceptional hospitality mean to you, and how do you embody it behind the bar?

” Exceptional hospitality behind the bar is leaving anything that is going on outside of work and coming into work with a positive attitude. I embody that by always making sure my guests are served, happy, and having an amazing night. “

2. What’s one small detail that you believe makes a big difference in providing exceptional hospitality?

“ One small detail that makes a big difference behind the bar is engaging with your customers. Providing great hospitality should be coming to work with a good mindset and happy to serve our customers. I believe if us as the bartenders are having a great time behind the bar it will overall improve the guests experience, making them want to come back.“

3. What is your biggest customer pet peeve?

” Changing the tv channels, especially right now with football season in full swing. During Sunday’s, we make sure to have a list of who’s playing and what times in order to make our guest experience’s enjoyable. All you have to do is let me know who we’re cheering for and I’ll become that team’s biggest cheerleader. “
